Charity transparency
Half of every pixel sale — calculated after refunds and before payment-processing fees, and excluding any separately collected taxes — is earmarked for the charity the buyer picked, and is paid monthly by the 15th of the following month with a public receipt. Payment-processing costs, and refunds that arrive after a donation has already been made, come out of the operator's share, never the charity share. This page separates three different things, because they are not the same:
- Pledged — 50% of a payment that Stripe has confirmed. Recorded automatically the moment a purchase is verified.
- Allocated — set aside and scheduled for a specific donation, but not yet sent.
- Paid — money that has actually left our account and reached the charity, with a reference recorded.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in partnership with any charity listed here. Charities are named because buyers chose them. Nothing is shown as “paid” until a real transfer has been made and recorded.
