Terms of sale
Plain English. If something here is unclear, ask before buying.
What you are buying
A one-time placement of your image and link on a specific block of the canvas, at $20 per pixel. You are not buying ownership of the site, a domain, a token, or any other asset.
How long it stays up (30 years)
We commit to displaying your block for at least 30 years from the date of purchase, and we intend to keep the canvas online well beyond that. The exact promised-until date for your block is calculated at the moment of purchase, recorded against your order and stated on your receipt. We do not promise “forever” — no website can honestly guarantee that — but the 30-year minimum is a commitment we owe you, not a target. Changing this term later applies only to purchases made afterwards; it never shortens a term already sold.
How the 50% charity share is calculated and paid
50% of each advertising payment, calculated after refunds and before payment-processing fees, excluding separately collected taxes. Paid monthly, by the 15th of the following month, with a public receipt for each payout. Processing costs — and refunds that arrive after a donation has already been made — come out of the operator's share, never the charity share. Amounts are shown as pledged, allocated and paid separately on the transparency page, and nothing is described as paid until an actual payment reference, date and receipt link are recorded. Policy version 2026-09-07.1; the terms in force when you bought apply to your block.
Content rules
No illegal content, malware, adult content, hate speech, impersonation, or links that redirect to any of those. Your image must be one you have the right to use. We may remove a block that breaks these rules; where the removal is not caused by fraud or illegality, we will refund the purchase price.
Refunds, partial refunds and disputes
Because a block is permanently allocated at the moment of payment, purchases are final once your block goes live. If your payment succeeded but your block did not appear, or you were charged twice, email us and we will fix it or refund it. A full refund removes the block from the canvas and reverses the charity pledge, except for any part of it that has already been allocated to a scheduled donation or actually donated — money that has left our account for a charity is never clawed back, and the refund to you is funded from our own share. A partial refund leaves the block in place and reduces the still-uncommitted pledge by half of the refunded amount, on the same basis. If you dispute a payment with your bank, the block is hidden and the pledge is held while the dispute is open; if the dispute is decided in our favour both are restored, and if it is decided in yours the block stays down and the pledge is reversed.
The 50% charity share
Half of each payment is recorded as pledged to the charity you chose at checkout. Pledged is not the same as delivered: the transparency page shows pledged, allocated and actually paid amounts separately. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any charity named on this site, and choosing a charity at checkout does not create a donation receipt for you — your payment is to us, not to the charity.
Availability and changes
We may move, resize, or rebuild the canvas layout only in ways that preserve your block's position, size, image and link. We may update these terms for future purchases; the terms in force when you bought apply to your block.
